I Made a 10-Minute AI Christmas Quiz My Students Beg to Play Every Year
Every December I used to dread the week before break.
Chaos, sugar highs, zero focus.
Then I spent 10 minutes with AI and created a Christmas quiz so fun my 5th graders now ask for it on December 1st.

The Quiz: “Santa’s Workshop Escape Room” (Multiple Choice + Instant Feedback)
Plot: Students are elves who must answer 12 questions correctly to save Christmas.
A wrong answer means the Grinch steals a present.
A perfect 12 out of 12 unlocks the “You Saved Christmas” certificate and a class dance party.
Step 1: AI Wrote the Entire Quiz in 4 Minutes (Curipod + MagicSchool)
Prompt I used in MagicSchool.ai:
“Create a 12 question Christmas escape room style quiz for [grade] graders.
Theme: Save Christmas at the North Pole.
Include math (fractions or decimals), reading comprehension, science (reindeer facts), and fun holiday trivia.
Make every question multiple choice with funny wrong answers.
Add instant feedback: correct equals festive cheer, wrong equals Grinch laugh.”
Step 2: AI Turned It Into an Interactive Game (Curipod)
I copied the questions into Curipod, chose the Game Show template, and added Christmas music and snow animations.
Kids can play on their Chromebooks or you can project it.
It lasts about 18 minutes and they cheer louder than they do at the holiday concert.
Step 3: AI Made the Printable Certificates (Canva Magic Studio)
Prompt: “Christmas certificate that says ‘Official Christmas Saver 2025’ with snowflakes, reindeer, and space for student name.”
I printed 25 copies. Best zero dollars I ever spent.
